Our staff has been giving to LaSalle Catholic all summer!

This summer, LaSalle Catholic is having a blast while we provide a number of fresh updates around both buildings of our campus!

On July 1, 2021, Holy Family School System officially changed its name to LaSalle Catholic!

Kevin Brennan makes his third trip to Cedar Rapids to work with our teachers. This time teachers are working on creating specific lesson plans to teach each week on topics of social and emotional intelligence. Our teachers love working with Kevin, and our students are loving to learn 21st century skills!

This year's scripture theme could not be better timed. Our staff and students will find inspiration from Romans 5:5 as we will need to embody hope in the aftermath of the derecho coupled with the challenges of COVID-19.

Holy Family's innovative approach to "return to learn" earned us spotlights on KGAN, KCRG, the Catholic Witness, and even a mention in the National Catholic Education Association briefing! Click to view one of the stories.

In July, the Westside Cedar Rapids Catholic Neighbors monthly magazine included this reflection on diversity by our Chief Administrator, Mr. Zachary Zeckser. We are surely blessed with families from a wide variety of backgrounds!

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Holy Family School System has closed the buildings, but learning, growth, and support for our students will continue!
