LaSalle Catholic offers a variety of opportunities for students to learn and grow in very casual settings in our after school clubs. While club offerings do vary year by year, there is always plenty of options for students to get involved. All clubs are open to all students in grades 5-8.
Mondays:
Chess and Board Game Club, 3:45-4:30
This club will allow students to challenge one anouther in Chess, Checkers, Battleship, Connect Four, Clue, Trivial Pursuit, and a variety of other board games. It will also include card games like Pokemon and Magin. We will have some tournaments throughout the year. -Mr. Davidson
Yearbook Club, 3:45-4:30
The members of this club will help collect and select photos for the yearbook, as well as design the pages. We'll meet to take pictures of clubs, sports, and groups. You'll get to work in both small and large groups to design pages for both elementary and middle school classes. You'll also have the opportunity to see the uearbook before anyone else! If you're ready to be creative and work hard, the yearbook club is for you!

Newspaper Club, 3:30-4:15 (Library)
The newspaper club will write, design, and edit a newspaper called "The Tea." Mrs. Sterling is seeking reporters, photographers, graphic deisngers (students with Canva expereince), a sports columnist, an advice columnist, and an artist to create Lance Lancer cartoons. Students must commut to working on the paper for a full quarter and will be expected complete some work outside of club time. Attendence will be capped at 15. -Mrs. Sterling
Tuesdays:
Book Club, 3:40-4:10
Read and discuss a book selected by the group. Bring snacks! :) Come to the first meeting with middle school appropriate book suggestions. Do NOT suggest a book you have read before - think of books you want to read but have not yet done so. We will vote and decide on what book to read together. You will need to purchase the book we select. -Mrs. Schneider
Loom Knitting Club, 4:00
Knitting with Mrs. Zach! Do you need some relaxing time after school? Stressed with homework, sports, and chores? Come join a zen afternoon with Mrs. Zach. Learn how to make hats and scarves for your friends and family. -Mrs. Zach

Have you ever wanted to try food from another country? Or maybe even master something you could make at home? Cooking club is for you! Enjoy both cooking and Mr. Geerts' humor in this unique opportunity to become the chef you always knew you could be.
