Jenna (Cole) Hentges

Hello, LaSalle families! My name is Jenna Cole and I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade English and Language Arts with your amazing children starting this fall. My journey in education started at the University of Iowa where I studied Elementary Education, minored in American Sign Language, and got my endorsement in reading. I’ve always had a love of language and have found the best way to share it has been through teaching. Witnessing the development of students through books and language skills has drawn me into a passion for education that I cannot wait to continue in this community. I am most looking forward to encouraging the progression of these skills in an environment fueled by faith. When I’m not at school you can find me curled up with a book somewhere or hiking with family and friends. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your students this coming school year!
